The National ICT Research Directors Forum starts on Monday 12 April at lunch time and finishes after lunch on Tuesday 13 April.

The National ICT Research Directors Forum is an informal framework, through which representatives of national ministries responsible for ICT research policy and funding (typically research and industry ministries) and their Commission counterparts meet twice a year to discuss and develop shared visions and strategies for ICT research in Europe.

Elisabeth Giacobino (head of the QUIE2T advisory board) will represent the Information and Communication Technologies Advisory Group (ICTAG) and inform the participants about the major ICT trends.

With the start of the new CA QUIE2T the qurope.eu web portal has been officially launched.

The qurope.eu web site will provide everything of relevance for the QIPC community, from latest news, information material, specialized databases to a hosting framework for QIPC related projects. The top domain of the web portal is www.qurope.eu, watch out for the additions and updates of the several sub-domains.

This web portal is maintained by Work Package 3 of the FP7 Coordination Action project QUIE2T.

The QUIE2T project has officially started today.

With the official start of the project, we have first published the web site. We really hope that it will become a useful tool for the community. We are planning a number of interactive features, but for the moment it is still very much work in progress. If you have any comments or suggestions, please contact us and leave us your feedback.

The QUIE2T Grant Agreement has been signed by our Coordinator.

Now the Grant Agreement has to be counter-signed by the European Comission, and, within the next few weeks, our partners will sign their respective Accession Forms. The project is on track to commence on 1st of February!
