One of the current ICT call 7 objectives is targeting at reinforcing the cooperation across the enlarged European Union within the ongoing ICT/7FP projects.
The ongoing ICT call 7, Objective ICT-2011.11.3 seeks to add new partners and additional budget to existing projects to increase the number of EU countries (and FP7 associated countries) involved in the research. The target is to reinforce the cooperation across the enlarged European Union and to strengthen the integration of the European Research Area in ICT.
Proposals must be presented by the coordinator of the on-going project. In order to ensure the widest impact across the Member and Associated States and European Research Area, the additional partners must be located in countries not already present in the existing consortium.

Q-ESSENCE support of mobilities and scientific meetings.
Q-ESSENCE has allocated a budget for support of mobilities (students/postdocs) and scientific meetings (conferences, workshops, schools) . The Q-Essence Meetings & Training Committee has, so far, agreed to support International Symposium on Optical Manipulation of Quantum Information in Solids (26-28 May 2010, Paris, http://www.isomqis2010.fr/) and 14th Workshop on Quantum Information Processing (8-14 January 2011, Singapore, http://qip2011.quantumlah.org/index.html).
For more information on the support rules please read the information in the 'Meetings and training Committee' section and the documents attached there.

QVA - brief video abstracts to recent papers on the arXiv.
The purpose of Quantiki Video Abstracts is to provide brief video abstracts to recent papers on the arXiv. The abstracts provide a "teaser" for the paper and should guide the audience into your work, emphasizing what you think is the most important result. Everybody is welcome to contribute.
