Dear colleagues,
you and your group members are cordially invited to participate in the international conference on Quantum Information Processing and Communication (QIPC) 2011 to be held at ETH Zurich from September 5-9, 2011.
The program committee has selected an exciting range of speakers covering the diverse aspects of the field of quantum information science and technology. Detailed information about the conference can be found on the website www.qipc2011.ethz.ch.
SPIE Optics+Optoelectronics 2011
Quantum Optics and Quantum Information Transfer and Processing
Prague Congress Centre, Prague, Czech Republic, 18 - 21 April 2011
The purpose of this first CHIST-ERA conference will be to bring together personalities and scientists from the community of the call topics (Quantum Information Foundations and Technologies and Self-Awareness & Self-Consciousness) preliminarily chosen by the CHIST-ERA Consortium and that will be called for in the first CHIST-ERA transnational call for projects.
Ion traps are used as a basic tool in a wide variety of experiments today, and ion trappers with different applications often deal with very similar challenges. This conference addresses researchers interested in the various experimental and theoretical aspects of ion trapping, including quantum information, atomic and molecular spectroscopy, metrology, high-precision determination of atomic ground state properties, cavity QED experiments as well as the production of cold molecules.
We would like to draw your attention to an upcoming conference in Crete/Greece on the
FRONTIERS OF MATTER WAVE OPTICS (FOMO),
(http://www.matterwaveoptics.eu/)
in the time between 6.-11th April 2010.
The conference will host a fine selection of current research, both from Europe and overseas, spanning the field from the foundations of physics to advanced matter wave applications. The conference is open to all modern matter wave research, also across interdisciplinary fields:
The conference programme consists of oral and poster presentations on the following topics that include, but are not limited to:
The scientific program on Quantum Information is primarily focusing on physical and theoretical aspects of quantum information processing and communication, as well as on their physical implementation. The aim of the program is to bring together key and active researchers in the foundations of quantum mechanics, quantum information theory, quantum communication, quantum key distribution, and quantum computing to review, present and discuss recent important results.
The Tenth International Conference on Quantum Communication, Measurement and Computation (QCMC) will be held at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia from Monday 19 - Friday 23 July 2010.
