I would like to announce the space laser communication conference called ICSOS 2012 (International Conference on Space Optical Systems and Applications 2012) held in Congress and Exhibition Center of Ajaccio, Ajaccio, Corsica, France, 9-12 October, 2012. ICSOS 2012 is organized by National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), co- organized with International Conference on Space Optics (ICSO), and supported by European Space Agency (ESA).

This student conference will combine two events — the 9th Canadian Student Conference on Quantum Information, and the 2nd AQuA Student Congress on Quantum Information and Computation — into one spectacular. The event is a place for graduate students in the field of quantum information science from institutions around the world to come together and showcase their work to other graduate students in the field, at the same time making valuable contacts.

Photonics Europe 2012 Quantum and Atom Optics

The 1st International Conference on Quantum Technologies will take place in Moscow on July 13-17, 2011. It is planned as a kick-off meeting of the fresh born Russian Quantum Center. This interdisciplinary meeting will bring together about 60-80 experts from various fields of physics exploring frontiers of quantum technologies and will include sessions on
