This conference is designed to bring together leading scientists in the field of quantum optics, quantum information processing, and quantum cryptography. It will offer an updated review of recent activities both in theoretical and experimental research. The conference programme will consist of oral and poster presentations on the following topics that include, but are not limited to:
- quantum information theory and experiments
- quantum cryptography # quantum memories and quantum repeaters
- fundamental aspects of quantum optics
- quantum entanglement and its applications
- continuous variable quantum information processing
- neutron, atom and molecular quantum optics
- generation and characterization of quantum states
- quantum computing
- decoherence and open quantum systems.
