Fox - IT

Website:

It is Fox-IT’s mission to make technical and innovative solutions that ensure a more secure society. We do that through the development of advanced cybersecurity and cyberdefense services and solutions for our clients around the world. We achieve this through a strong focus on innovation and a tireless dedication to our clients, our values, and our integrity.

Quantum-Safe Working Group

Modern encryption methods are composed of two parts: an algorithm that encrypts or decrypts our data with a random, secret key with our data, and a method of sharing the secret key between two parties. The encryption algorithm (AES-256) appears safe, at least for the next 20 to 30 years, based on our current knowledge of cryptographic attacks. But the methods for generating and sharing the random, secret key will no longer be safe once quantum computers are readily available.

Adva Optical Newtorking

Our company began with a single vision: to transport data, storage, voice and video signals at native speeds and lowest latency. A lot’s changed since that time, but our vision remains the same. Our products are the building blocks for tomorrow’s networks, enabling the transport of increasing amounts of data across the globe.

Signadyne

Signadyne is a young and fast-growing company specialized in control, test and measurement solutions. Signadyne focuses on high-performance real-time applications, empowering the technological capabilities of engineers and scientists worldwide.

Signadyne is a spin-off of ICFO -The Institute of Photonic Sciences, one of the world's most prestigious research centers in photonics. ICFO's cutting-edge research pushed Signadyne founders to develop disruptive high-performance technology, the basis for Signadyne product portfolio.

Siemens

The seamless integration of data along the industrial value chains will gain more and more in importance, becoming a key criterion for the survival of developing / manufacturing companies. The Digital Factory Division aims to provide its customers with a comprehensive portfolio of hardware and software products which enable the comprehensive integration of data from development, production and suppliers. The complete digital representation of the entire physical value chain is our ultimate goal.

NuCrypt

Founded in 2003, NuCrypt focuses on engineering problems at the interface of optics, electronics, and quantum phenomena.

Eleven Paths

At ElevenPaths we have our own way of thinking when we talk about security. Although the security industry has been in full swing for many years and we have seen all types of products and solutions introduced over the last decades, we believe that we still have not got it quite right as we continue to be confronted by many of the security threats and problems that arose in the early days.

Applied Communication Sciences

Applied Communication Sciences (ACS) solves real-world problems to foster the success of our customers and partners.  We create research, consulting and technology solutions that drive market innovation across government and multiple industry sectors.  Our ACS team is particularly recognized for working large-scale problems requiring deep knowledge of technology and operations.

ADVR

AdvR is a recognized leader in the engineering of nonlinear optical structures for a host of photonic devices and applications. We started operations in January 1999 with the mission to develop, manufacture and sell engineered nonlinear structures, lasers and related electro-optic products.

QUTE-EUROPE contribution to FET public consultation

Summary:

QUTE-EUROPE submitted a position document titled "Quantum Technologies in H2020" to the recently launched FET public consultation.

As many of you probably know, the EC has launched an online consultation to identify game-changing directions for future research in FET related technological domains. The purpose of this consultation is to initiate thinking about future proactive initiatives to be included in the next FET workprogramme for 2016 and 2017.
