Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to announce a seven-week workshop, "Frontiers in Quantum Simulation with Cold Atoms", to be held at the Institute of Nuclear Theory (INT) of University of Washington in Seattle from March 23 to May 8, 2015.
There will also be an International Conference on "Frontiers in Quantum Simulation with Cold Atoms" in the second week of the workshop from March 30 to April 2, 2015.
The organizers are Immanuel Bloch, Cheng Chin, Tin-Lun (Jason) Ho, Uwe-Jens Wiese, and Peter Zoller.
We are pleased to announce that the workshop POLARYS 2014 (POLAriton blockade effects in RYdberg atoms and Semiconductors) will take place at
Institut d’Optique in Palaiseau, France, from Tuesday December 2nd to Friday December 5th, 2014.
Registration is now open at
http://polarys2014.sciencesconf.org/
The workshop will be devoted to excitation blockade mechanisms in Rydberg atomic ensembles and cavity excitonic polaritons.
We would like to announce the 576. WE Heraeus Seminar "Designed Quantum States of Matter" to be held at the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef/Germany from December 1st to 5th, 2014.
More information is available at
http://www.iqo.uni-hannover.de/heraeus-seminar.html
The seminar will explore recent exciting developments in the generation, manipulation and detection of specially designed quantum states. These advances will be discussed at the rich intersection of metrological applications, fundamental tests and quantum many-body physics.
We would like to draw your attention to the International Workshop "Analytical and numerical approaches to strongly correlated systems" that will take place at the Centro de Ciencias de Benasque Pedro Pascual (http://benasque.org/) from August 25 to September 12, 2014. Benasque is a beautiful spanish village located in the heart of the Pyrenees close to Aneto Peak, the highest mountain in the Pyrenees (3,404 metres -- 11,168 ft).
Dear colleague,
We are pleased to announce that registration is open for the workshop `Nanoscale Quantum Optics', to be held at the Lorentz Center in Leiden, the Netherlands, 2-6 June 2014.
A Workshop on "Quantum Computation and Quantum Information" will be held within the program of International Conference SigmaPhi2014, Rhodes 7-11 July 2014. The Workshop will cluster talks dedicated to special topics of QCQI with parallel focusing on the area of Quantum Walks, Topological Quantum Walks and Classical Random Walks.
Currently, the abstracts of the papers to be presented in the Conference (Main Conference or Workshops), can be submitted by using the Conference web page "Abstract Submission" and indicating the workshop number 8.
