UQUAM, an ERC Synergy Grant project in the field of ultracold quantum matter, is currently looking for PhD students and Post-Docs who ideally have a strong background in quantum optics, quantum mechanics or condensed matter physics.

The project is carried out as a collaborative research effort between the theory research groups of Ehud Altman (Weizmann Institute of Science) and Peter Zoller (University of Innsbruck) and the experimental research teams of Jean Dalibard (Collège de France) and Immanuel Bloch (Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics). The aim of the project is to take the interdisciplinary research field of ultracold quantum matter to a qualitatively new level, by taking advantage of the most recent spectacular advances in the control of ultracold atomic and molecular systems.
