You will contribute to the research programme of the Theoretical Quantum Optics and Quantum Information Group and the International Max Planck Partnership (IMPP). In particular you will work with Professor Stephen Barnett (the PI and Research Group Leader) on topics of mutual interest and of interest to the IMPP, including aspects of quantum optics that are relevant to quantum information and communication experiments, and to the angular momentum of light – with particular focus on quantum measurement and metrology.
