Two postdoctoral positions in KAIST quantum electron transport theory Lab

In our research group (group info: http://qet.kaist.ac.kr), we have opening of two postdoctoral positions, one in in the field of condensed matter theory and the other in quantum information theory.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in theoretical condensed matter physics or in quantum information theory. Applicants with research experience on condensed matter theory (mesoscopic physics, fractional quantum Hall effects, many-body effects, or topological insulator) or on quantum information theory (entanglement detection, entanglement measure, witness, quantification, multipartite entanglement) will be very welcome.

The intial appointment will be for one year with a possible extension to the second/third year. Renewal of the contract will be contingent upon the performance. Annual net salary will be around 20,000 US dollars (24,000,000 KRW) or around 24,000 US dollars (30,000,000 KRW), depending on research experience.

The expected starting date would be March 2011, but earlier appointment is possible. Evaluation of the applications will start immediately and it will be continued until the position is filled.

Interested candidates should send a CV, list of publications, and contact information of at least two references via email (qetlab [at] googlemail [dot] com).
