The Department of Electronics and Nanoengineering at Aalto University is looking for a postdoc to develop a new class of quantum photonic devices (such as single photon emitters, photon-pair emitters, single photon detectors) based on various nanomaterials, such as one-dimensional materials (e.g. carbon nanotubes, nanowires) and two-dimensional layered materials (e.g. transition metal dichalcogenide or boron nitride monolayers).

We offer a highly stimulating research environment for a postdoc with degree in quantum photonics, physics, nanosciences or material sciences and with excellent knowledge of nanophotonics. As a member of our team you will be joining the Aalto Centre for Quantum Engineering and get to use the top-level nanofabrication instrumentation of Micronova, that is part of the national OtaNano research infrastructure. Located at the Aalto main campus in Otaniemi, Espoo, the centre is surrounded by the largest and leading innovation hub in the Nordic countries.

For details, see the announcement on Aalto University website.
