Applications from highly motivated researchers are welcome for a postdoctoral position in the group of Adolfo del Campo in the Department of Physics, University of Massachusetts Boston.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in physics or a related field and ideally have a strong background in theoretical quantum physics and statistical mechanics. Possible research topics include controlled quantum dynamics and shortcuts to adiabaticity, non-equilibrium dynamics of isolated and open many-body systems, finite-time quantum thermodynamics and statistical physics, and implementations of quantum technologies.

Applications should be sent electronically to adolfo.delcampo {at} gmail.com
including a CV, list of publications and contact details of two academic referees.
Please include "QPTPD14" in the subject line.

The position is available for one year, with a possible extension to a second year conditional on a successful initial period and the availability of funding. Informal enquiries may be addressed to Adolfo del Campo [adolfo.delcampo {at} gmail.com].
