Paid QI postdoc position in Germany

"The single spin group at the 3rd institute of physics at the University of Stuttgart is inviting application of candidates for a postdoctoral position. The team pursues research in the area of spin quantum physics and quantum information processing at an internationally highly competitive level. The successful candidate should have a strong background in electron- and nuclear magnetic resonance (can also be specified to strong knowledge of spin quantum physics and complex coherent control, according to the head of institute). The contract is initially limited to 2 years with the possibility of an extension.

Both theoretical and experimental work is possible. In 2011, Prof. Wrachtrup has been awarded an ERC Advanced Investigator Grant and the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize, both together worth 5 million Eur. The institute is closely linked to the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Stuttgart.
