Postdoc position in theoretical quantum physics
Location
Postdoc position in theoretical quantum physics, Department of Optics, Palacky University Olomouc, Czech Republic.
Fields of research: Quantum information processing, quantum optics, ultra-cold atoms, optical lattices, quantum thermodynamics.
The position starts in spring 2013 and may last till June 2015.
The successful candidate is expected to conduct analytical and numerical work in the quantum optics group under the supervision of prof. Tomas Opatrny. It is also expected that he/she will participate in some teaching
activities.
The project covers a very competitive salary and travel expenses to visit several collaborating institutions abroad.
Applicants must hold a PhD degree in Physics acquired not before April 2008.
