Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Quantum Optics and Quantum Information Theory at TU Darmstadt:

The Quantum Theory Group of the Institute for Applied Physics at the Technische Universität Darmstadt
is filling a currently vacant three-year's postdoctoral position.
The research activities of the Quantum Theory Group are focused on Theoretical Quantum Optics and Quantum Information Theory. The research activities of the postdoctoral fellow should strengthen and complement these ongoing research activities and the successful candidate should participate also in the regular teaching obligations.

Applicants are required to hold a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics. They are expected to have research experience and a scientific publication record in a subfield of the above-mentioned research areas. Please enclose with your application indications of your preferred research topics and a proposal that describes your
future work plan. A good command of English (spoken and written) and possibly also German is required. Salary according to the regulations of the Technische Universität Darmstadt, beginning of appointment to be agreed upon.
