Javier Prior's group at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT) has one postdoctoral vacancy in the field of Dynamics of Open Quantum Systems. The project will be related with the new topic of quantum biological systems and the study of artificial photovoltaic material as conjugated polymers.
The appointment will be made within the structure of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena on a two-year contract basis (35000 Euros per year before taxes) (starting date, june/july 2016)
Requirements: A relevant doctorate of high standing and knowledge of open quantum systems. It will be appreciate knowledge of and Density Matrix Renormalization group (DMRG) and simulations of 2D photon eco spectroscopy.
