Applications are open for a two-year postdoc position in the group of Miguel Navascués at the Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI, Vienna) to conduct research in quantum information theory. Current research topics in the group include the possibility to discriminate between finite and infinite-dimensional quantum physics, infinite lattice systems and the study of supraquantum physical theories, see http://www.iqoqi-vienna.at/home/research-groups/navascues-group/ .

Special consideration will be given to candidates with a background on C*-algebras, group theory and/or tensor network states.
