Post-doctoral position in quantum information theory
Location
The Quantum Information Theory research group led by Prof. Antonio Acin at ICFO - The Institute of Photonic Sciences in Barcelona, Spain is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to work under the AXA Chair in Quantum Information Science, recently awarded to Prof. Acin.
The main goal will be to understand the possibilities, and limitations, of the device-independent scenario for quantum information applications. In particular, we plan to: (i) develop general techniques for the study and design of device-independent protocols, (ii) study their implementation using current or near-future technology and (iii) apply device-independent concepts to other research problems.
