This project is related to the development of new magnetic molecular systems for quantum computing and molecular spintronics and foresees the synthesis, the magnetic characterization and nanostructuration on surfaces of magnetic molecules featuring long-lived spin coherence.
The ideal candidate has to be an experienced researcher on the study of the spin dynamics on molecular systems, in particular through the use of pulsed EPR. Equally relevant will be a recognized activity of the candidate in the synthesis and/or in the assembly of magnetic molecules on surfaces, as well as the characterization of those hybrid systems via morphological and magnetic tools.
The position will start on April the 1st 2017. For information about the selection procedure and scientific program please contact Prof. Roberta Sessoli (roberta [dot] sessoli [at] unifi [dot] it).
