You are invited to apply for a postdoc position at the Condensed Matter Physics Center (IFIMAC) of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in the group of Elsa Prada. The successful candidate will join the research line of Topological Superconductivity and Majorana States in Condensed Matter.

IFIMAC is a Research Center pursuing cutting-edge research and scientific excellence in the following areas:  Advanced Materials, First Principles Simulations and Modeling, Nanophysics, Nano and Quantum Optics, Soft Matter and Biophysics, Soft Condensed Matter and Biophysics.

IFIMAC offers a postdoctoral position. The contract will have a maximum duration of 4 years, and will be supported by Banco Santander through "Post-doctoral researchers incorporation to Escellence units Maria de Maeztu" programme.

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates, holding a PhD obtained between 1/01/2011 and 31/12/2013 with experience in the field of Condensed Matter Physics. The candidate should be able to work rigorously and contribute actively to the development of the proposed research plan.
