The quantum theory group at the University of Salerno offers a post-doctoral position to perform theoretical work on the physics of quantum many-body systems using methods and tools of quantum information theory.

Topics will include: quantum simulation of frustrated quantum systems with atomic and optical platforms; analytical techniques and numerical algorithms for the investigation of topological order and other exotic phases of complex quantum systems; dynamics of systems with k-body and long-range interactions; novel tools and methods inspired by quantum information theory.

Duration of the fellowship: 12 months, renewable up to 36 months.

Salary scale: to be negotiated, in a scale ranging from € 30.000,00 up to € 40.000,00 per annum.
