Dear Colleague,
We are launching a supplementary training program for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows working in various aspects of cryptography and quantum computing, and would appreciate your help in identifying strong candidates who may be interested in applying.
CryptoWorks21 is run by the Institute for Quantum Computing and the Centre for Applied Cryptographic Research at the University of Waterloo, in collaboration with colleagues at the University of Calgary’s Institute for Quantum Information Science and Institute for Security, Privacy and Information Assurance, and at the University of Montréal and McGill University. We work in collaboration with other industry, government and academic organizations around the world.
CryptoWorks21 focuses on developing next-generation quantum-safe cryptographic tools for the 21st century. As part of the program, a new generation of researchers will work with leading cryptography and quantum computing experts towards the goal of creating the global, quantum-safe cryptographic infrastructure of the future. Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in the interdisciplinary program will learn from mentors, attend specialized workshops and conferences, and collaborate internationally to stay at the forefront of this important field.
The CryptoWorks21 program:
