QUROPE Quantum Information Processing and Communication in Europe

The 5th Syposium LFPPI SeQre 2014, Progress in Quantum Cryptography, will be held at Wroclaw University of Technology, Wrocław, Poland, on 27-28th of January 2014.

Symposium will focus together outstanding specialists in the field (including prof. N. Gisin, prof. A. Ekert, prof. V. Makarov, dr . K. Tamaki, dr A. Poppe, prof. M. Kuś and others), as well as representatives of active QKD companies: idQuantique (Geneva), AIT (Wien), Sequrenet (Paris), MagiQ (NY), Toshiba (Cambridge - n.c.), NTT (Tokyo) and in quantum computing: DWave (n.c.), NASA (n.c). Symposium is planned as the meeting of Quantum Cryptography experts, QIP physicists, IT specialists and application oriented QKD companies in order to present and discuss the current status and prospect for future development and practical deployment of QKD. There are invited also representatives of finance and administration sectors in Poland interested in future application of this new security technology. The symposium program will also encompass broader scope of QIP in relation to security and more general aspects of physical foundations of information processing.

We cordially welcome all interested participants and invite submissions of contributions.
