Quantum Information added to Physical Review A’s statement of coverage

Summary:

Physical Review A has recently changed its formal statement of coverage to explicitly include Quantum Information.

Physical Review A has recently changed its formal statement of coverage to explicitly include Quantum Information. The announcement has been made in the Editorial http://journals.aps.org/pra/edannounce/10.1103/PhysRevA.93.010001. As explained in the Editorial, this change reflects the fact that Quantum Information has become a substantial part of the journal, and it is also meant to highlight the fact that Physical Review A considers itself to be the home for high-quality papers in this area of physics research. It also implies that papers in the Quantum Information section of Physical Review A do not necessarily need to have an immediate connection with AMO physics.

Authors are invited to submit their significant results in Quantum Information to Physical Review A.
