Aalto University invites applications for a tenure track position in quantum technology, with focus areas in experimental research on sensors and devices including possible applications of superposition and entanglement as well as research and development of applied solid-state devices and systems for quantum technologies. The research field should cover quantum sensors, quantum information, (e.g., quantum computation, simulation and cryptography) and/or enabling solid-state platforms for quantum technologies, such as, superconducting devices, CMOS, NEMS/MEMS and photonics devices and systems. Research areas with connections to technology and applications are welcomed. The successful candidate is expected to conduct an outstanding independent research program that complements the existing research efforts in Aalto University and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland in these areas.

The joint position between Aalto University and VTT will be located at the Department of Applied Physics (http://physics.aalto.fi) in the Aalto University School of Science. All tenure track levels are considered in the recruitment (Assistant, Associate and Full Professor).
