The Optoelectronics Group, led by Prof. Dr. Valerio Pruneri, at ICFO is offering a research engineer position to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young individual who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.
The successful candidate will work on our project related to Continuous Variable Quantum Communication (CiVIQ) within the Quantum Flagship programme. This project seeks for developing QKD systems that can be readily integrated into modern optical networks to secure communication between different nodes.
ELIGIBILITY AND CONDITIONS
- Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized degree in telecommunication engineering or electronic engineering.
- Experience in experimental optical telecommunications is required.
- The selected candidate will be offered a position based on his/her expertise.
- The selected candidate will strongly benefit from close collaboration with other scientist working in areas such as quantum optics and digital electronics. In addition, the project has a close collaboration with others academic institutions and partner enterprises.
