Applications are invited for the role(s) of Quantum Enterprise Fellow in the School of Physics and School of Electrical Engineering at The University of Bristol.

The Quantum Technology Enterprise Centre is offering a number of 12-month fellowships (beginning on the 1st of December 2018) aimed at supporting the development and transition of lab-based quantum related technology into start-ups and spin-outs. The programme is strongly geared towards implementing; building and developing a business with a view to exiting the programme with an investable business proposition or early stage company.

As a Quantum Enterprise Fellow, you will be part of a one-year cohort-based programme incorporating taught courses covering aspects of systems thinking and design, enterprise and entrepreneurship. As a Fellow your business will be based upon a demonstrated technology you have the right to commercialise. Fellows receive extensive coaching and mentorship throughout the programme as well as desk space, a travel and consumables budget and many opportunities to network and pitch to potential investors.

This programme is suitable for early career scientists or graduates who have a lab-based quantum related technology they wish to commercialise and the ambition to be an entrepreneur. The programme is open to applications from across the globe and we are supportive of applications from members of the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme.
