Professor of Theoretical Physics - Modern Quantum Mechanics

Applications are hereby invited for the position of Professor of Theoretical Physics at the University of Turku (Finland) in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

The person sought is expected to have internationally acknowledged expertise in the research area of modern quantum mechanics such as quantum control, quantum dynamics, quantum information, foundations of quantum mechanics or quantum optics.

The employment will be permanent.

The professor will be the Head of the Laboratory of Theoretical Physics. We also expect that the professor will participate in the operation and development of Turku Centre for Quantum Physics:
