Professor and TWO lectureships in Experimental or Theoretical Physics

Professorial salary is determined by negotiation (The minimum salary for a newly promoted professor is 54,283 per annum.) Lecturer (B) starting at 37,012 and rising to 44,166 per annum

The University seeks to appoint a Professor and two lecturers in the areas of Quantum Technologies, Quantum Information Physics, or the wider area of Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) Physics. Talented candidates for either an experimental, or theoretical position are welcome to apply. All three positions are permanent.

Examples of new research areas of interest include: quantum information, femtosecond technology, nanophotonics, optical lattices, and circuit QED. This list is indicative and not exhaustive.
