QUROPE Quantum Information Processing and Communication in Europe

Location

The Quantum Information Group at Toshiba Research Europe has a pre-doctoral fellowship open in the framework of the EU Initial Training Network, Spin-Optronics.  The fellowship will investigate novel semiconductor sources of quantum entanglement and their application in quantum information technology.  The candidate may also study for a PhD if desired.

To be eligible, candidates must hold a first degree in Physics, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline and must not have been resident in the UK for more than 12 months in the last three years.  The fellowship should commence on or before 1 Oct 2010, and is available for 36 months.
