University of Warsaw, Faculty of Physics, seeks to fill five research positions supported by the project Photonic implementations of quantum-enhanced technologies. The project, funded under the TEAM programme operated by Foundation for Polish Science, will focus on controlling quantum phenomena in photonic systems to enable new modes of information processing and communication. Three tightly intertwined themes of the project are light-matter interfaces, quantum-enhanced protocols in realistic environments, and simulations of light-matter interactions. Positions are planned for two Ph. D. students and three students who have completed at least the 3rd year of undergraduate studies at the start of the project.

Applicants are requested to e-mail their curricula vitae, research records, and academic transcripts to team [at] fuw [dot] edu [dot] pl. The deadline is 29th May 2010.
