Phd position at the Quantum Optics and Quantum Information group of the Physics Division of the University of Camerino. The research activity will be carried out under the supervision of Prof. David Vitali and will be related to the topics of the ITN project "cQOM" - Cavity Quantum Optomechanics.

Experimental phd topic: “Optomechanics in a membrane-in-the-middle setup” Job description: Experimental work with the goal of achieving quantum effects for a SiN membrane placed inside a high-finesse optical cavity.

Eligibility conditions for both positions: Early-stage researcher (research experience less than 4 years, no-phd) and have to satisfy the so called “mobility rule”: at the time of recruitment, the researcher must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date.
