Location

A PhD position is available at the Quantum Physics group (http://qphys.uni-saarland.de/) of Saarland University, in Saarbrücken, Germany. The research is supervised by Dr. Marc Bienert and takes place in the theory group of Prof. Dr. Giovanna Morigi.

The focus of the research project will be on hybrid quantum systems consisting of single quantum emitters and optomechanical cavities.

The suitable candidate has a background in theoretical physics, ideally in the field of quantum optics, quantum mechanics or solid state physics.
