The Department of Mathematics at the University of York are seeking an 
outstanding candidate for the role of Associate Lecturer in Mathematical 
Physics, to enhance our teaching in this area.

The main responsibilities are:

- To lecture, lead seminars, tutorials and other forms of undergraduate 
and postgraduate teaching
- To develop and apply innovative and appropriate teaching techniques 
and material which create interest, understanding and enthusiasm amongst 
students
- To carry out on-going curriculum review, including module content and 
materials and contribute to the development of teaching and learning 
strategies
- To undertake effectively a range of administrative responsibilities

This position is suitable for someone with extensive specialist 
knowledge in Mathematical Physics, sufficient to develop teaching and 
provide relevant learning support to students across different levels of 
academic ability. Preference may be given to candidates who specialise 
in Quantum Information.

This role is available on a fixed-term contract for 2 years. For more
