The Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor (Universitair Docent, UD) appointment in Quantum Nanophotonics at the Photonics and Semiconductor Nanophysics group of the Applied Physics Department (www.tue.nl/psn)

The new UD will conduct cutting-edge research in experimental quantum nanophotonics. Research themes of interest may include integrated quantum optics, optomechanics, photonic crystals, plasmonics, metamaterials. He/she is expected to gradually establish a strong and independent research program, and to collaborate with the other professors in the nanophotonics area. The new UD will also fully participate to the teaching program of the Department of Applied Physics, giving courses and supervising students at the Bachelor, Master and PhD level.
