L’équipe de recherche en physique de l’information quantique, EPIQ (Physics of Quantum Information Research Team), is a research centre of the Université de Sherbrooke. Its research aims at exploiting quantum mechanical effects for information processing purposes. The team comprises both experimental and theoretical research components. The EPIQ counts four Professors, as well as Doctorate, Masters and Bachelor students and postdoctoral researchers, all members of the Physics Department of the Faculty of Sciences. Expertise include superconducting qubits, solid state spin qubits, topological quantum computation, fault-tolerant quantum computation, mesoscopic physics and quantum algorithms.
