QUROPE Quantum Information Processing and Communication in Europe

Dear colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to a quantum physics school, which we have organized for the time between May12th and May 17th 2013 in Bad Honnef, Germany.

we are glad to announce that many leading European researchers in experimental and theoretical quantum physics agreed to lecture
about their field of expertise, related to experiments and models that may exploit or challenge the validity of the
superposition principle for massive quantum systems.

We invite you to consider participating in this event yourself or to inform your colleagues and students about this possibility.

Those who have attended similar meetings at the DPG head quarter in Bad Honnef have appreciated both the informal setting, the modern conference hall and the
open discussions in these meetings.

Thanks to the generosity of the Wilhem and Else Heraeus foundation, the fees for participation, accommodation and meals are exceptionally low (100 €).

Presentations and posters abstracts shall be submitted before March 24. We will inform the selected participants about their acceptance before the end of March.

The number of places – also for contributed oral presentations - is, however, strictly limited and we therefore encourage early registration.
