Dear Colleagues,

we cordially invite you to attend the workshop on Quantum Thermodynamics of Non-Equilibrium Systems (QTDNEQ20) to be held in Donostia-San Sebastian, in the Basque Country, Spain online on Zoom from October 13th to 16th, 2020.

Registration and abstract submission are now open

The workshop focuses on novel thermodynamical phenomena in non-equilibrium quantum systems and includes the following themes: quantum heat engines, the link between information and thermodynamics, bath engineering, and the control of quantum dynamics. The workshop will bring together leading experts, experimentalists, and theorists working at the crossroads between quantum physics and thermodynamics.

Important dates: Abstract submission: open until Sep 30th;

Registration is free of charge but required for participation.

Confirmed invited speakers:

  • Janet Anders (University of Exeter, UK)
  • Alexia Auffèves (Institut Neel, Grenoble, France)
  • Adolfo del Campo (DIPC/Ikerbasque, Bilbao, Spain)
  • Geraldine Haack (UNIGE, Geneva, Switzerland)
  • Jorge Kurchan (LPS, Paris, France)
  • Rosa López (UIB, Mallorca, Spain)
  • Eric Lutz (University of Stuttgart, Germany)
  • Markus Müller (Institute for Quantum Information, Aachen, Germany)
