We have the pleasure to announce the second edition of the “Quantum Engineering of Levitated Systems” workshop that will take place at the Centro de Ciencias de Benasque Pedro Pascual, Spain (http://benasque.org/2018qels) from Sept 17 to 21, 2018.

The workshop focuses on recent developments in the field of quantum systems based on levitation by optical, electric and magnetic techniques with a strong emphasis on mesoscopic systems. Building on the success of the previous workshop, we hope to provide an interactive atmosphere, which strengthens existing connections between ongoing research efforts, and fosters the development of new ideas and the exploration of novel directions by offering a relaxed schedule with ample time for discussions amongst the participants.
