The Conference "Majorana Physics in Condensed Matter" will be held at the EMFCSC from July 12 to 18, 2013 as an event of the International School of Solid State Physics.
A tentative list of topics that will be discussed during the event include:
- Majorana fermions in semiconducting nanostructures with large spin-orbit interaction coupled to superconductors
- Topological quantum computation with Majorana fermions
- Topological fractional quantum Hall states
- Majorana fermions in ultracold atom systems
- Theoretical aspects of Majorana fermions
- Majorana fermions in high-energy physics
