We are happy to announce the 3rd international conference for Young Quantum Information Scientists (YQIS) which will happen, with generous support by the Heraeus foundation, in Erlangen (Germany) from 3rd to 6th October 2017. The conference aims for providing a possibility for young researchers to present their cutting-edge research on the stage, to discuss extensively with other young researchers and to build strong ties to the quantum information community.

The programme will mainly consist of talks given by young researchers. In addition, invited speakers from both, academia and industry will give insight into their experience. Finally, there will be poster sessions and time for discussions.

The conference also will include an interactive tutorial where the participants will be introduced to IBM Quantum Experience.
