Dear QED community,

the summer school 2012 of the FP7 project CCQED (Circuit and Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics) is held in Munich in September (10.9. - 14.9.) and is organized by National Instruments & MPQ Garching.

The school is organized within the framework of the Marie-Curie-ITN CCQED and is aimed for PhD students and postdocs working in the field of circuit and cavity QED or related research fields. The goal is to prepare the attendees for the advanced technological challenges that come along with nowadays state-of-the-art experimental setups, with the computational challenges of simulations and high performance computing. Lectures and lab sessions will be provided to give practical advice for these challenges. The participants will learn how to use NI LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA in assisted hands-on classes with embedded Real-Time controllers and FPGA devices. Lectures and Courses will run in two different tracks for beginners and more advanced users.

The participation is free of charge, therefore the only costs are accommodation and travel costs.

Further details and the registration form are available at
