The successful candidate will work with PhD students on the development of quantum opto-mechanical systems (QOMS) based on integrated optical microresonators. A particular focus of the position will be the development of nonlinear opto-mechanical systems using a) strong electrical actuation and intrinsic mechanical nonlinearities, and b) opto-mechanical nonlinearities from dispersive optical coupling in arrays of optical microresonators.
