ICFO is offering up to two postdoctoral positions to a well qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientists who wishes to enhance their scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.
The successful candidate will be joining the Theoretical Quantum Nanophotonics group led by Prof. Dr. Darrick Chang. The group investigates novel phenomena in quantum atom-light interactions, stemming from the confinement of light at the nanoscale. The project associated with this particular position will deal with the application of atom-light interfaces toward quantum technologies.
ELIGIBILITY AND CONDITIONS
Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) preferably in Theoretical Physics.
The candidate should have a strong background in theoretical physics research, preferably in the areas of quantum optics or condensed matter physics.
