ICFO is offering a postdoctoral position to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.
The successful candidate will be joining the Theoretical Quantum Nanophotonics group led by Prof. Darrick Chang. The group investigates novel phenomena in quantum atom-light interactions, stemming from the confinement of light at the nanoscale. The project associated with this particular position will deal with the optical properties of atomic arrays.
ELIGIBILITY AND CONDITIONS
Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) preferably in Theoretical Physics.
The candidate should have a strong background in theoretical physics research, preferably in the areas of quantum optics or condensed matter physics.
