ICFO is offering a post-doctoral position to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.

The successful candidate will be joining the Optoelectronics Group, led by Prof. Dr. Valerio Pruneri to work on a project related to optical surfaces with multifunctional properties. In particular for sensing and display applications, with strong relation with industry.

This contract will be funded by the European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) allocated to the Programa operatiu FEDER de Catalunya 2014-2020, with the support of the Secretaria d’Universitats i Recerca of the Departament d’Empresa i Coneixement of the Generalitat de Catalunya for emerging technology clusters to carry out valorization and transfer of research results. - Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized degree in photonics, material science, physics or chemistry.

- Experience in experimental photonic materials is required.

- The selected candidate will strongly benefit from close collaboration with other scientist working in areas. In addition, the project has a close collaboration with enterprises.
