In this PhD student position you will join the team of Stephanie Wehner at QuTech TU Delft ( to work on theoretical challenges in quantum communication.

You have an exceptional undergraduate track record in either maths, physics, theoretical computer science or electrical engineering. You will have demonstrated your abilities in at least one research project during your undergraduate years. A strong background in quantum information or quantum mechanics is required. The ability to work in a collaborative environment is encouraged.

A master's degree is necessary to pursue a PhD in the Netherlands. Should you only hold a Bachelor degree so far, you may consider the Delft master's program featuring a new program on quantum technologies PhD position is fully funded, as in the Netherlands PhD students become university employees.
