QuTech is a research center in quantum science and technology, and National Icon of the Netherlands, whose goal is to realize a Quantum Internet and Quantum Computer. QuTech is located at TU Delft, as a close collaboration among several disciplines (Physics, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science), TNO (Center for applied engineering research), and industrial partners (Microsoft and Intel). QuTech encompasses experimental, theoretical and engineering research needed to realize quantum technologies, ranging from the realization of quantum computing devices to the development of new protocols and software.
