We are looking for a scientifically talented and motivated doctoral student to join the KVANTTI group of the Aalto University’s Department of Applied Physics (Helsinki, Finland). Our main research work is in the field of superconducting qubits and circuits. Preference will be given to candidates with a M.Sc. in a field related to nanoelectronics; experience with cryogenic systems and RF measurements are a plus. The position can be also at the postdoctoral level, for extremely qualified researchers holding a Ph.D. in the field of superconducting circuits.

We offer a highly stimulating research environment for experimental physicists with relevant training in condensed matter physics. As a member of our team you will be joining the national Finnish Centre of Excellence in Quantum Technology – QTF and get to use the top-level instrumentation of Low Temperature Laboratory and Micronova nanofabrication center, both part of the national OtaNano research infrastructure. Located at the Aalto main campus in Otaniemi, Espoo, the CQE is surrounded by the largest and leading innovation hub in the Nordic countries.
