This is the announcement of the TOPOLIGHT 2015 School that will take

place in Fai della Paganella near Trento (Italy) on March 15th-21st, 2015.

This school is the 8th edition of the Optoelectronics and Photonics
Winter School series traditionally held in Trento every second year.
This edition will be focussed on:

"Topological Effects in Photonics"

In addition to theoretical courses on the general theoretical tools, the
school will offer dedicated lectures on specific optical systems where
such physics can be observed and, possibly, exploited in devices.

- Mikael Rechtsman (TBC), Topological effects in coupled waveguides
(Pennsylvania State University, USA)

- Monika Aidelsburger, Topological effects in atomic systems
(Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Germany)

- Nader Engheta, Metamaterial concepts (Pennsylvania State University, USA)

- Alberto Amo, Topological effects in semiconductor microcavity
polaritons (CNRS, France)

- Mohammad Hafezi, Topological effects in silicon photonics (University
of Maryland, USA)

- Iacopo Carusotto, Topological effects in quantum fluids of light (BEC
CNR, Italy)
